SoulfulLens

Jurgita is a Lithuanian-born, Detroit-based photographer and visual storyteller whose work captures the quiet poetry of everyday life. At the heart of her photography is human emotion at a soul level, an honest, often unspoken current that runs through every frame. Through her lens, ordinary spaces become stages for feeling, stillness, and vulnerability.
With a keen sensitivity to mood and minimalism, Jurgita’s work invites viewers to slow down and notice the subtle beauty that often goes unseen. Her images have been recognized for their ability to transform simple moments into compelling visual narratives.

Jurgita’s work has been exhibited at Detroit galleries including The Scarab Club, Office Space Gallery, Chloë Monroe Galleries, Pizzo Studio Art Gallery, Lawrence Street Gallery, First Issue of Detroit New Wave Magazine, The Voyeur Bordello, The Padzieski Gallery
