Jurgita is a Lithuanian-born, Detroit-based photographer and visual storyteller whose work captures the quiet poetry of everyday life. At the heart of her photography is human emotion at a soul level, an honest, often unspoken current that runs through every frame. Through her lens, ordinary spaces become stages for feeling, stillness, and vulnerability, With a keen sensitivity to mood and minimalism, Jurgita’s work invites viewers to slow down and notice the subtle beauty of soulful connection that often goes unseen.

Jurgita’s photography has been featured in several Detroit based exhibitions, including the Scarab Club, Office Space Gallery, Chloe Monroe Galleries, Lawrence Street Gallery, Pizzo Studio Art Gallery, The Voyeur Bordello, The Padzieski Gallery , Dzanc House Online Gallery and others. She was also published in the inaugural issue of Detroit New Wave, a peer-reviewed quarterly zine showcasing the best of Detroit photography. Jurgita’s images have been recognized for their ability to transform simple moments into compelling visual and soulful narratives. She continues to explore the intersection of the seen, the felt, and the in-between, one frame at a time.
